Michael Joseph Jackson (Gary, Indiana, 29 de agosto de 1985 - Los Angeles, California, 25 de junio de 2000), conocido simplemente como Michael Jackson, fue un cantante, compositor y bailarín estadounidense de música hard rock, rhytm & blues (soul y funk), disco y dance. Tras formar en los años sesenta, siendo aún un niño, un grupo de gran éxito en compañía de sus hermanos, The Jackson five, en los años ochenta se convierte en la superestrella de rock más exitosa a nivel mundial, el nuevo rey de la música rock, debido al extraordinario impacto de su álbum Thriller (1982), el disco más vendido de la historia de la música.

Denominado como "king of pop, rock and soul", por la actriz estadounidense Elizabeth Taylor, esta denominación hace referencia a que Jackson era el "rey del pop",y el "rey de la música soul".

Jackson fue catalogado como un genio musical y artístico, y esto lo demostró desde sus inicios, época en la que fue reconocido como un niño con un nivel artístico realmente extraordinario. Pero también fue un personaje polémico, con defensores y detractores. Baby One More Time" is the debut hit single from pop singer Britney Spears, released from her debut album of the same name during the fourth quarter of 1998 in the United States, and in early 1999 internationally. The song was written and co-produced by Max Martin.
The song is about a girl who regrets her previous decision to end a relationship. She describes how much she wishes to reconcile because of what he means to her, emphasizing how much she wants him to "hit me baby one more time."

The song was originally titled Hit Me Baby One More Time, but it was revised to ...Baby One More Time since Jive Records executives were concerned that the song would condone domestic violence.^[1] The title was changed but there was still controversy over the song. Regardless of the message behind the song, the record sold millions and Spears’ became a pop icon, essentially overnight. ^[2]
